Something New for Me

Today I found something I haven't ever noticed before: Digital Art Prints. What an incredible medium! I really wish I had the skill/computer program to make these myself but I'm sure enjoying looking at other people's incredible creations. I searched "digital art prints" on etsy and found quite the assortment! There are quite a few that I find downright weird (even a little troubling!) but those aside, it was a fun search. Here's a few of my favorites, some of which I just like and some I'd consider framing and hanging....

Hope you enjoyed this visual feast! Now go search on your own...or better yet, make one of your own!

Show and Tell!

Hello Again! I haven't blogged two days in a row in ages! But when you've got as many pretties to show as I do, there's no waiting any longer! Besides, I feel like connecting with you, my Bloggy Pals, on a day like today. I got several sweet packages in the mail today, one of which was a total surprise, plus a few things I ordered I am just thrilled with.
It's also my little Andrew's first birthday today! He was born exactly one year ago at 3:43 in the afternoon. What a wonderful year it's been! Andrew is such a delightful addition to our family and we can't imagine life without him now. Happy Birthday, Sweet Boy! As you mamas know, a first birthday can feel quite "triumphant" for the Mama...the first year is completed and that means a tremendous amount of work, sleeplessness, energy and JOY is behind me. Though we're not throwing a big party, I remember how it felt to do a big party for my eldest daughter's first birthday; it felt like a "Congratulations...You Made It!" party for James and I! So perhaps that's why I feel like connecting with my Blog Friends; this year has been happier, fuller and more fun because of YOU. You want to see the pretties now, you say? Well then here you go!

I received this sweet package from Lori last week! She had some vintage needles in her stash and asked me if I wanted them; of course I did! But not only did she send a bundle of needles, she sent me all SORTS of lovelies! Just look at this...

I also got this gorgeous package from Heather! I won her giveaway a couple of weeks ago and I was ECSTATIC! But never in my wildest dreams did I imagine a giveaway like this!

She also enclosed a couple things I ordered for myself! Look at this precious tray and this EXQUISITE embellished bottle!
Then in today's mail I found two of these precious bunnies! I ordered them from my sweet friend, Jenn, of Sweet Eye Candy Creations. Rachel is quite simply IN LOVE with her bunny and there is no persuading her that it's a decoration. She is going to play with it. And that's that.

And last but DEFINITELY not least is something that made me teary when I opened it. Miss Dara of Sophie Rose Designs has become a "pal" of mine and I just soooo enjoy her. I admire all of her creations and would buy every single one if my pocketbook would allow! I told her I loved the wreaths she has for sale and just LOOK what she sent me as a house-warming gift! I feel so blessed. Believe me, this confection is even more beautiful in person. And look how big it is!!! I can't wait to get into my new house and hang this somewhere special!

She gave me this darling ornament, as well. She really IS a sweetheart! Thanks, Girls! You're a big bunch of Sweeties and I'm so lucky to know you!

I Didn't Forget Monday Yummies!

Well it's officially the Holiday Season, dontcha think?? With Thanksgiving over I feel like winter and the Holidays are upon us, even though I sent Emily to school in short sleeves today and am only just now chilly enough for a sweatshirt! But even with not-nearly-cold-enough weather, images like this one still seem appropriate... I have got so much going on, I nearly forgot Monday Yummies! I was reminded by a friend, actually!!! Phew! That was a close one! I've got my little guy's first birthday on the brain (tomorrow), a holiday boutique I'm doing with a friend coming up on Sunday afternoon and lots of orders that are in various states of completion. And I'm doing Christmas shopping online. And we're moving. AND the baby seems to be coming down with yet ANOTHER cold. AND....well you can imagine, I'm sure! But I can't miss Monday Yummies...it's really one of my happiest things!

So come along with me, Sweets, and we'll do some Holiday Window Shopping together....Rosey Posey Confections style!
And here we go....

YUMMY THING ONE: Lovely Coffee Mug
I have a serious hot cocoa addiction, Sweets, and this sweetie of a mug isn't going to help me quit! I love this and oh my gosh....just look at the price! I'm thinking about buying a whole set...
There is nothing quite like these vintage bottlebrush wreaths. And when they're in pink and white....well let's just say my heart starts to beat fast!
YUMMY THING THREE: Vintage Pink Sugar Bells
And for the tree....look at these precious ornaments! They have that "sugared" look to them and are just asking to have some vintage millinery and ribbon added to them...
Now isn't this darling? Love it.
And to decorate our little ones, here's a yummy hair ornament!

YUMMY THING SIX: Advent Calender by Teresa McFayden
My family has always celebrated Advent and it is one of my most treasured holiday traditions. I'm going to tell you more about that in the next few weeks, but until then, here is something fun for all of us to do! Not only does the very talented Teresa have more gorgeous photos of this incredible creation on her blog, she also has very detailed directions about how to make one yourself....here!

Well that's it for today, Sweets! Thank you so much for coming along on my little cyber shopping trip! I can't wait to show you photos of all my swaps just as soon as my partners receive their goodies! And I've got quite the pile of new pretties for the boutique Sunday and I'll share some photos of that. Anything that doesn't sell there will be going in my etsy shoppe next week, too, so look for a bit of a shoppe update.

Hope this week is full of holiday magic, the makings of memories and good health!

Monday YUMMIES for YOU!

Well hello, Sweets! Hope you are having a lovely Monday. The Bachelor Finale is on tonight....woo-hoo! This is The Bachelor, in case you aren't the loyal Bachelor watcher that I am. He is an entrepreneur from Texas and super-sweet. And gosh I hope he picks cute little Jenni!!! Anybody else out there nutty about The Bachelor (the show, not the MAN!) I honestly like both the girls that are left but I think Jenni is just as sweet as pie and she & Brad just "go" together well.

Well...it's that time again! Time for you to climb into the little side-car of my cyber-mobile and I'll take you window-shopping with me! I've found LOADS of the yummiest yummies to share with you and can't wait for you to devour them with me. And off we go!!!

This literally takes my breath away. Her work reminds me a bit of Nicole Sayre but has its own incredible "look." Vintage everything and that wonderful combination of simplicity and elegance I love so much...

Speaking of elegant...Pat has done it again. This sumptous wreath is chock-full of vintage pretties and Victorian loveliness. A Snow Angel, a Father Christmas, sweet white deer, glitter galore and so much more!!!

Sweet little girl and bunny pendant would be a lovely gift for the little one in your life, don't you think? It sure makes my little heart pitter-patter!
YUMMY THING FOUR:Favorite Colors Handbag by MissyPrissy

Oh my! Couldn't you just eat this bag with a SPOON????

Love the colors of this sweetie. And look at those dear little girls all lined up on her skirt hem!
Wouldn't these be sweet as part of our holiday decor??? I can imagine a sweet little village of these in a favorite spot...
YUMMY THING SEVEN: Shabby Footstool
Loving this little sweetie!!!!
Oh my goodness...what a treat! Cerri is just a sweetie and look what she is offering...a valise FULL of vintage goodness! Read her listing to see what will be included in this trunk full of treasures! I'd call this a perfect Christmas gift to buy for oneself!

Well ladies....thank you for coming along with me today! Wasn't that fun??? We'll have to do it again next Monday, now won't we?? :) Have a lovely Thanksgiving, too!

So Much Glittery Goodness!

OH MY!!!! Where to begin with all the glittery goodness??? I personally am covered in glitter at the moment, as is my workspace! It is just way too much fun! But here is just some of the glittery "goings-on"....

First...a Birthday Girl Wand for the Birthday Girl to wave as she makes her "birthday decrees." You know the decrees I mean, right??
Here's just a few....
~ Thou shalt only serve me Barbie Cereal for my breakfast!
~ Thou shalt allow me to lick the frosting of 4 cupcakes and leave the cake!
~ Thou shalt overlook my sugar-fueled hyper-activity and overall brattiness for the entire day!

I used a favorite vintage image of a cake, printed on fabric, for the centerpiece of this wand. Add pink crepe paper ruffles, pink tuling, white pom-pom trim and glitter and you have yourself a birthday CONFECTION! You can find this one in my etsy shoppe HERE!
And speaking of confections......LOOK AT THIS!!!!! This incredible masterpiece was made by the oh-so-gifted and oh-so-sweet Jenn of Sweet Eye Candy Creations. Look closely at the box that the birthday bunny is sitting on....does that cake look familiar?? I was so thrilled that Miss Jenn used my little cake pendant on the front of the birthday box she made! Oh I must have one of these boxes. I just about screamed in delight when I first saw it! Ask Jenn about her custom-made birthday boxes!
And speaking of Jenn and GLITTER.... Look at what I found in my mailbox today!!!!! THANK YOU, JENN!!!!!!! I adore it!

And look what I bought TWO of from her the other night!!!! I have been waiting for her to put these in her etsy shoppe! They sold out in a flash but I bought TWO!
I also just HAVE to show you what I finally finished....
It's Sweet Santa!

I've just listed this sweetie on etsy and you can find it HERE. You'll receive everything you see here...the faux "box" (it doesn't really open) and the two vintage bottlebrush trees!

Love that REAL glass glitter!!!!!
The vintage bottlebrush trees each have mica on their branches....so pretty.
Santa stands in front of his glittered sleigh which is carrying a tiny "gift" that is glittered and has a vintage millinery rose on top!
Isn't he just PRECIOUS????
Well that's all the glitter for now! I'm sure I'll have some more on Monday in my YUMMIES so be sure and pop in then! HUGS!
