Dreaming in Pink & Aqua...

Oh my goodness...I promised to be back and then look how many days have passed! So much going on!

One of the things I am (happily!) busy with is stocking the website with new fabric and patterns. Here are just a few of the new and yummy things you can find at Confections Fabric. I am still loading a few new fabrics and patterns each day so keep checking back...

I am so enamoured with all this new fabric, I've been making some things with it myself!

Here's a strand of "lanterns" I made using Heather's lantern tutorial that she taught us on Sweet Six Studio....these aren't the best photos but you get the idea! My girls are IN LOVE with this and are begging me to make some for their room. You can find all the yummy fabric I used (and much more!) on my website, www.confectionsfabric.com

And here's a new "Just-Baked Cupcake" also available on the website! Isn't it scrumptious? This cupcake includes the sweet cupcake pin by Pinks & Needles!

I also covered a binder that I keep my embroidery patterns and transfers in with some of my new fabric. Here is how the binder looked before...

and now it looks like this....I also covered a favorite embroidery book that had an ugly cover! See the cute little image of a little girl sewing? You can find this image at Summersdarling. Pat also makes the most darling business cards using this image. They would be perfect for enclosing with handmade gifts or items that you sell! Aren't they yummy? And now they look so pretty on my studio shelf. And all with hot glue...no sewing involved at all!

Lots more fabric to load on the website and a couple of sick, whiney kids are calling me. Hope you have a great weekend...it's almost here....we can make it!!!

Hugs,

Cheryl

Cheryl, My tiny dancer pincushion arrived today. What can I say except, I ADORE HER! She is already holding court amongst my faux sweets in my kitchen. I found a place for her ASAP.

Thank you so much! I adore her.
