Well We Knew He Was Sweet....

Today I realized Andrew was being awfully quiet, and since that's rarely a good sign, after a few minutes I went looking to see why and this is what I found....A sweet baby in the Sugar!!!

Also I'm really excited to show you my second Joli Paquet kit

~Red Rose Tussie Mussie~

It's a fabric-covered tussie mussie kit that requires no sewing skills whatsoever! All you need is a glue-gun and some hot glue sticks! This would make a fabulous gift with something special tucked inside. It also looks perfect hanging from a door knob or over a bedpost but it could also be a lovely Christmas tree ornament! Buy a few kits and use them to decorate the table for a special holiday meal...just picture these full of peppermint sticks or red roses at each place setting! Soooooooo beautiful....

This kit will include:

Heavy cardboard cone
Vintage Wilendur fabric
Pre-ruffled red-and-white polka dot fabric
Pre-made red-and-white polka dot "yo-yo"
Pre-embroidered red rose covered button
Length of red-and-white polka dot ribbon "handle"
Length of ivory satin ribbon for the bow "tail"
Page from a vintage book for the "lining" of the inside of cone

So come back this Friday, November 9th, when this kit and my other Joli Paquet kit, The Ice Queen (blogged about here) will be available in my etsy shoppe! And I will be having an exciting giveaway here on my blog that will be announced Friday...so don't miss out! And please stop by the collaborative Joli Paquet blog here to see what other kits the other Joli members are going to be offering! You are going to be absolutely floored....every single one is just GORGEOUS!

Off I go to put together these kits for you! HUGS!

Ooohhh Cheryl, How sweet is Andrew. I bet you didn't really think so when you had to clean it up. Silence is always a give away that they are up to something a bit naughty.

Oh my goodness! Reminds me of a time when my oldest daughter was about 4 yrs. old and she came running in while I was taking a shower one day and yells, "Mommy, mommy you have to come see what Trin is doing" So I get out of the shower and Trintge who was less than 2 at the time had taken all her clothes off (she did that all the time) and had climed on top of the kitchen counter and was throwing handfuls of flour every where while laughing hysterically!
Oh my gosh, I cleaned up flour for a week! So wish I had film in my camera that day! It was such a site to see..my naked little girl covered in flour along with the entire kitchen!!
:0)
Love your tussie kit!!

Cheryl your tussie mussie looks sooo elegant - just love it!!!

Sweetie pie Andrew looks full of mischief. Spilled sugar is cute but be warned.....food dye - not so cute....I know from personal experience LOL My girls are now 10 & 13 but still the food dye is hidden at the top of the pantry inside a box.

Cheryl, that baby is so sweet, he surely doesn't need the sugar...but i must say that is a much better choice than when i found my Jacob {the ten year old} as a baby sitting in the kitchen with the crisco can happily scooping HUGE fistfuls into his mouth!!! yuk!!!
your tussie kit is GORGEOUS!!! love the patterns and colors!!!

Oooooh I LOOOOVE the tussie! Such bright and cheery colors! FUN!

Trust me girl! I know about "the silence". I had the same experience with Grant, except he was coloring a BLACK crayon on my pale blue bedroom walls! Definitely was a lesson for me to watch him like a HAWK! hee! hee!
Huggies!!!!
