Here's the WIP here in my studio.
In the middle of my curtain-sewing, tragedy struck! Here is Raychie's hippo (a.k.a. "Hippy") who is much beloved and somehow managed to get a hole in his neck. So the curtain-sewing HAD to stop so that Hippy could be mended. After all, to a four-year-old, Mama's sewing abilities are worth a hill of beans if she can't fix Hippy's hole in his neck! Curtains are pretty and all, but come on! Priorities, Mama!
Can't wait to get some more curtains done so that we can pull down the temporary window coverings....plastic drop-cloths. Ick.
Tonight I'm going with a friend to see a movie and drink a Jamba Juice for her birthday. Then we'll probably get cold and need to drink a Starbucks in order to warm up. ;)
What are YOU up to, Sweets?

Oh how cute!!!
Sewing curtains is a daunting project to start, but not so bad once you get going.
I just finished my living room curtains, but still have the dining room panels to do.
No hand sewn hems for me, though. That would not be pretty. I do not have the skill to hand sew! I used a blind hem stitch on my machine.
I can't wait to see your finished project!
Kimberly :)
Can't wait to see everything! James is definitely a keeper!
