The Final Day....

Today is the final day of my two-week feature on Inspire Co.! That means today is the last day to buy the "Confections" over there!

I've so enjoyed the last two weeks and I feel so honored to be one of Amy Powers' InspiredFriends. I can't wait to see who is featured starting tomorrow....

If you want to see my goodies that are still available, go here!

Today I'm putting the finishing touches on my panels for Karla and Beth's Birds & Bonnets Swap. It's been challenging for me but I'm so pleased with the results. I've heard there were over 100 gals that signed up for this swap and each one made 4 two-sided panels. Karla and Beth will send each player 4 different panels from 4 different artists, made into a beautiful "screen" like this one:
Fun, right? I was a bit swapped out after the flurry of swaps I've been in the last few months but this one seemed really "doable." And it's been fun! Here's the panels I made...

"New Wild Scandal"...This one is my favorite. It includes a fun snippet from a 1922 love letter! Also included are vintage hymnal snippets, German scrap rose, new paper, vintage photo and the woman is from The Vintage Workshop.

This one doesn't have a "title" so I've dubbed it "Wierd Hair"....check out that girl's "do"! Includes girl from The Vintage Workshop, vintage hymnal snippets and a copy of vintage postcard.

The next one is called "Gather Ye Rosebuds" and is composed of the vintage "wallpaper" from the Vintage Workshop and a gorgeous vintage postcard image.

"It was sweet but oh!"....love that...it's a snippet from that 1922 love letter I've been saving for just the right purpose. This one includes lady with hat from The Vintage Workshop, hymnal snippets, copy of vintage postcard and copy of vintage sheet music.

This one is called, "Sometime, Somewhere," which is a title of a hymn that I liked. Vintage hymnal, of course! Included are new paper, copy of vintage photo of woman and hat from The Vintage Workshop.

"Our Memories"....this one is one of my favorites. I used new paper, copy of vintage photo from Alpha Stamps' collage sheet, snippet of The Vintage Workshop "wallpaper" and a snippet from a 1922 love letter.

"Love Never Faileth"...this one looks really great in person but really bad in this photo. I could NOT get one that didn't show a glare off the decopauge medium!!! Argh! But this one has new paper, copy of vintage Harrison Fischer print, snippet from vintage hymnal, German scrap rose, vintage green crocheted trim and bird on branch image from The Vintage Workshop.

On a different note, does anyone who uses blogger know what happens when you've used "100%" of your photo storage capacity? When I upload a photo into a post, it says, "You're using 93%." I'm kind of worried about what happens when I reach 100%!! Does that mean photos in my archives stop showing up? Gosh I hope not. I bet it means I can start paying for my space! Makes a girl start dreaming of the larger typepad photos my typepad bloggy buddies get. Harumph....

Going antique shopping on Saturday! I need a few elements to finish up a reallllllly special project. Can you believe it's supposed to reach 100 degrees this weekend here in the Central Valley. Ick!

Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday.

Hugs,
Cheryl
